The idea of a private salmon lake, surrounded by sheltered gardens complete with a large modern lodge was thought up in early 2001.

Sharvin Lodge is a unique concept. It is has the only private salmon lake in New Zealand where public can come and fish with no fishing licence. Alongside the beautiful private lake, there is someone to help if you need.

We specialise in functions, weddings, events and conferences.

A large immaculately kept, landscaped garden surrounds the lake and lodge. This serene setting makes Sharvin Lodge the ideal location for a memorable outdoor wedding or function.
